Design checks a lot of my boxes. Whether it is storytelling, working with beautiful colors, or simply trying to answer the “why” of a situation, there is something about UX Design that initiates excitement, the same kind I feel while working on a passion project.
I graduated with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Studio Art, Media & Society, and English in 2012. My professional work since then has mainly consisted of content marketing within the specialty food industry. Through the years I came to truly enjoy the passion for community, storytelling with empathy, and endless paths to satisfy my curious nature. I was often walking a tightrope between honoring cultural traditions while appreciating the need for innovation in the specialty food industry. This involved asking a lot of questions and talking to a lot of people, all-the-while writing about and supporting the businesses of these small artisan vendors.
Entering the UX field has granted me access to a multi-disciplinary field that lights up both my right and left brain. I thrive in this kind of environment.
Open to teaming up on short and long-term projects.
